# Manage your subscription

Open **Settings** from **Plan**, then choose **Subscription** to check the
subscription information Momentum can confirm. You can restore purchases when
the control is available or manage an App Store subscription through Apple.

## Keep the purchase account in mind

Use Momentum on your iPhone or iPad. You do not need to sign into a Momentum
account to open **Subscription**.

Sign in to Momentum before purchasing or restoring a subscription. Use the
Momentum account linked to your purchase and the App Store account used to
buy it. Apple manages billing; subscription access stays linked to one
Momentum account. Free local training needs no account.

## Check, restore, or manage

### Open your subscription information

1. Open **Plan** in Momentum.
2. Open the toolbar menu and choose **Settings**.
3. Choose **Subscription**.
4. Read the subscription status.

### Restore an existing purchase

1. Sign in to the Momentum account linked to your purchase.
2. Tap **Restore Purchases** if it is enabled.
3. Wait while **Restoring Purchases…** appears.
4. Read the result before trying again.

### Manage an App Store subscription

Tap **Manage Subscription** to open subscription management. Momentum uses
the available management link or Apple's subscription-management page.

You can also go directly through Apple's Settings:

1. Open the **Settings** app on your iPhone or iPad.
2. Tap your name.
3. Tap **Subscriptions**.
4. Select your Momentum subscription if it is listed.
5. Review Apple's subscription details. If you want to cancel, choose
**Cancel Subscription** when Apple offers it and follow Apple's instructions.

## Read the result before taking another step

A restore checks your existing purchases; it does not guarantee that Momentum
will find an active subscription. If the result says none was found, check
both the Momentum account linked to the purchase and the App Store account
used to buy it. Do not buy again to resolve an uncertain restore.

**Updating Account Access** means Momentum is still confirming account access.
Try refreshing shortly; do not repeat the purchase.

Apple manages billing and cancellation for App Store subscriptions. Check
Apple's displayed subscription state after making a change. **Restore
Purchases** does not cancel a subscription. Deleting your Momentum account
does not cancel an App Store subscription either.

## When subscription information is unavailable

**Checking Subscription** means a check is underway. **Subscription Unavailable**
means Momentum could not confirm the current state; it does not establish that
your subscription expired or was canceled.

Use **Try Again** when it is enabled. **Restore Purchases** is disabled during
a restore. If no restore is running and both controls remain disabled, they
are not available in your installed app. You can still check an App Store
subscription in Apple's **Settings**.

**Subscriptions Not Configured** means this build cannot load subscriptions;
signing in does not configure it. If **Offline** appears, reconnect before
refreshing.

For **Purchase Recovery Required**, use **Momentum Account** to sign in to the
account linked to the purchase. If ownership is unknown or the purchase still
cannot be matched, recovery is not available on this screen.
Do not buy again, switch accounts to transfer a purchase, or delete training
data to resolve the problem.
