# Find app information

When you need to identify your installed app, open **Settings** from **Plan**,
then choose **About Momentum**. You can read the version and build number
and find the legal links there.

## Start with the app you have

Open Momentum on your iPhone or iPad. You do not need to sign into a Momentum
account to view its version, build number, or legal controls.

## Find the version and legal links

1. Open **Plan**.
2. Open the toolbar menu and choose **Settings**.
3. Choose **About Momentum**.
4. Read **Version** beneath the Momentum name.
5. Under **Legal & Support**, choose **Terms of Use** to open its link.
   Choose **Privacy Policy** if that link appears.

## Keep the version and build together

The number after **Version** identifies the app version. The number in
parentheses is its build number. Keep both together when describing which
app you are using.

These values identify the app installed on this device, not the newest
available release.

## If a legal link is missing or does not open

The legal links available in the app can vary. A missing **Privacy Policy**
link does not tell you what data Momentum collects.

If a legal destination does not open, return to **About Momentum**. You can
still read the version and build number without opening a website.
