Review imported workouts

Open Plan > Settings > Apple Health and choose an Imported Workouts row to read its results and source. Runs can also show routes, splits, and running measurements when Apple Health makes those details available.

Start with an imported workout

Have an imported workout available in Momentum on iPhone or iPad. When you open its details, Apple may request additional read access for measurements or routes. Choose what you want to share; the summary can still be available without every measurement.

Open the workout and look closer

  1. Open Plan and its options menu.

  2. Tap Settings, then Apple Health.

  3. Under Imported Workouts, tap the workout you want to review. The list starts with the newest workouts and loads more as you scroll.

  4. Read Results, then check About for Date and Source. Source shows the recording device when available, otherwise the app name.

  5. For a run, open any available detail cards:

    DetailWhat you can review
RouteThe route Apple Health supplies for the run.
    SplitsLap or distance-split information.
EffortAn effort score and a Heart Rate chart when available.
Run MetricsAvailable power, cadence, stride length, ground contact time, and vertical oscillation.

Separate recorded facts from the plan

For runs, Workout Time uses the imported duration. Elapsed Time spans the recorded start and end times, so the two can differ. Avg. Pace is calculated from duration and distance.

Splits use recorded laps when available. Otherwise, Momentum estimates distance-split times from distance samples—or from the workout total when samples are missing. Those estimates are not recorded lap times. Cadence is calculated from step samples, and an effort score may be an estimate from Apple Health rather than a rating you entered.

A matched workout can show Plan and Schedule beside Results, and its detail status may say Completed. The plan describes intended work; the imported results describe the external workout. A match does not prove that you met every target.

For a matched structured run, Interval Results appears only when recorded interval boundaries can be associated with the planned steps. Momentum does not fill missing interval results from the prescription.

When details are missing

A missing value is not zero. The source may not have recorded it, or Apple Health may not make it readable to Momentum. Completing an access request does not confirm read permission; Momentum cannot distinguish read denial from an absence of readable data.

An indoor run may have no route, but route absence alone does not establish where you ran. Imported strength workouts can have summary results without exercises, sets, reps, or loads.

If Try Again appears in the detail, tap it to retry the read. For a missing workout or list-loading failure, return to Apple Health settings in Momentum and use the refresh or retry control shown there. These checks cannot create measurements the source never recorded.

When a check reports that a workout was deleted from Apple Health, Momentum removes it from the imported list. A retained plan link may still need review.
