Review workout history

A finished session can help you choose the next one. Open its date in Plan to read recorded results alongside any available plan context. Repeat Workout opens a separate editable draft when the saved workout content supports it; the earlier result stays unchanged.

Start with a finished workout

Use Momentum on an iPhone or iPad. You need a finished Momentum workout available in Plan. Workouts imported from Apple Health can appear on the same calendar, but they open their own details.

Read the session, then choose what comes next

Open the record

  1. Open Plan.
  2. Select the date of the finished workout.
  3. Open its workout card.
  4. Check whether the session says Completed or Ended Early.

Read the work

For strength:

  1. Open an exercise under Exercise Results.
  2. Read Sets for logged reps and weight alongside any retained targets.
  3. Read Plan for the exercise's planned prescription.

For endurance, read Results for available recorded metrics. Plan shows available authored workout content; Schedule shows available scheduled context. About identifies the source.

Effort, Heart Rate, and Training Zones appear only when the record contains the relevant data. You do not need every section to read the results that are there.

Open a new draft

  1. Return to the workout's main details.
  2. Tap Repeat Workout.
  3. Review the new draft's exercises or endurance goals before changing them.

This step opens a draft. It does not start or save another workout.

Keep the old result and the new plan distinct

For strength, the new draft uses logged reps and load as its next targets where available, and planned values otherwise. Those values now describe what you intend to do next, not another completed set.

For endurance history that retains a supported single-goal or interval plan, the new draft keeps its authored goals. A saved duration estimate stays an estimate; ending a distance workout early does not turn its elapsed time into a new time goal.

Reading the record or opening a repeat does not change the old result or confirm delivery to another device or an account upload.

Let missing details stay missing

A missing result does not mean zero work. Sets does not fill missing numeric logged reps or weight with planned values. Displayed duration, distance, or resistance level can retain a planned target rather than a performed result.

Plan and schedule context depend on the source workout being available. Their absence does not erase the recorded session.

Not every old workout retains enough supported content to recreate its original structure. If the new draft does not represent the workout you intended, leave the record unchanged and build a new workout separately.

Momentum does not live-track endurance workouts. Repeating a supported endurance record opens a draft, not a recording session. To put a new endurance workout on your calendar, use Schedule Workout to build and add it separately.

Follow the workout's context
