Add a Program as a training plan

Start with a Program when you want a week-by-week structure to make your own. Open Library > Programs, choose a Program, then tap Review Plan to check its dates and create a separate training plan.

Choose a Program

Choose a Program that has loaded in Library. You do not need an existing training plan. If the list cannot load, tap Try Again. If filters hide the Programs you want to browse, tap Clear Filters.

Give the Program your dates

  1. Open Library.
  2. Select Programs.
  3. Open a Program.
  4. Review Week by Week and Before You Start to check the planned training and preparation.
  5. Tap Review Plan.
  6. Enter a Name for your training plan.
  7. Choose its start date in Starts.
  8. Open Duration to check the Program's fixed length and end date.
  9. Return to New Plan.
  10. Open Schedule to check the dated workouts. Use Week to review each week's prescriptions.
  11. Return to New Plan.
  12. Use the toolbar save control, labeled Create Plan for accessibility.

Your own dated training plan

Momentum saves your training plan and opens its details. Your plan keeps each of the Program's weeks and its source attribution, with dates of its own. Other training plans stay unchanged.

The details include your dates, the source Program, Schedule, and Completed Workouts. Scheduled workouts describe the training ahead; completed workouts record training you have finished.

Keep the Program and your training separate

The Program stays reusable. Creating or changing your personal training plan does not change that source Program, and adding it does not record any completed workouts.

The Program's length is fixed during this creation review. Changing Starts moves the dated schedule, so check the weeks before you create the plan.

If a source preview has no Review Plan action, open the Program from Library > Programs instead. If creation reports Couldn't Save Plan, check the details and retry from the same review.
